Mild Earthquakes Hit Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar District
Two mild earthquakes rattled Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, officials confirmed. No damage has been reported so far.
According to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS), the first quake, measuring 3.2 magnitude, occurred at 11:01 pm, with its epicenter in Kishtwar. The depth was recorded at 10 kilometers below the surface.
Later, another earthquake, measuring 3.8 magnitude, struck at 5:20 pm. Its epicenter was also in Kishtwar, with a similar depth of 10 kilometers.
