Meizu 21 Launched in China with Advanced Features
Meizu has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Meizu 21, in China. This new handset boasts a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and is available with up to 12GB of RAM. A key highlight of the Meizu 21 is its advanced triple rear camera setup, featuring a 200-megapixel primary sensor.
Pricing and Variants
The Meizu 21 starts at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 39,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 43,000), and the top-end 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant costs CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 45,000). Available in four colors, it can be purchased in China via the official Meizu website.
Global Availability Uncertain
As of now, there’s no official information on the Meizu 21’s availability in global markets, including India.
Meizu 21’s Impressive Specifications
The Meizu 21 features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. It runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, complemented by an Adreno 750 GPU, offering robust performance capabilities.
Camera and Storage
The smartphone’s camera array includes a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 5-megapixel telephoto sensor. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera caters to selfies and video calls. Storage options go up to 512GB.
Connectivity and Other Features
Connectivity features include WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, NavIC, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It also has an array of sensors, including an accelerometer and gyroscope, and supports an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock. The phone is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.
Battery and Design
Equipped with a 4,800mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging, the Meizu 21 ensures long-lasting performance. It also features stereo dual speakers, contributing to an immersive audio experience. The device measures 156.7×75.3×7.9mm and weighs 198 grams.
