Mehbooba Mufti Reveals Parliamentary Board to Determine Candidates for Central Kashmir Election
Mehbooba Mufti, the President of the People’s Democratic Party and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, announced that the selection of candidates for parliamentary seats would be determined by the parliamentary board. The decision was disclosed during a significant meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming election for the Central Kashmir parliamentary seat.
Leading the parliamentary board, Chairman Mohammad Sartaj Madni is expected to finalize the list of candidates in the near future, as highlighted in a statement released by Mufti. The meeting, attended by several key figures, including Party Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Veeri, General Secretary Dr Mehboob Beg, Adv. Gh Nabi Lone Hanjura, Additional General Secretary Asia Naqash, and other senior leaders, saw the active participation of former ministers, district presidents, constituency incharges, zonal presidents, and various party members. During the gathering, attendees shared their perspectives and insights on the election process.
