In a heartfelt event organized by the district administration in Doda, the Municipal Council Doda celebrated an Amrit Kalash Yatra as a tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The event, held under the “Meri Mati-Mera Desh” campaign, symbolized unity and reverence.
The event was spearheaded by District Development Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan, with active coordination from Executive Officer Yousaf Ul Umar. The Amrit Kalash, containing soil collected from various wards of MC Doda, was artfully placed in a beautifully decorated urn. The Additional District Development Commissioner Doda, Shri Pran Singh (JKAS), graced the event as the chief guest. This yatra is part of a prestigious nationwide initiative launched by the Union Home Minister of India to honor the memory of the fallen heroes.
