Massive fire engulfs residential buildings in Srinagar

A massive fire broke out in the Palpora area of Noorbagh in central Kashmir’s Srinagar on Monday morning.

An official said that the fire started in a residential structure in the Rakh Colony area of Palpora Noorbagh.

Around four to five structures have been engulfed in flames, while teams from the Fire and Emergency Services have rushed to the spot to contain the blaze, the official said.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and further details are awaited. (JKNS)
