The first model, depicted in yellow, showcases the iPhone 16 equipped with a consolidated volume rocker and an Action button.

A second mockup in pink displays mechanical volume buttons and a camera setup resembling the iPhone 12 design.

A third model, presented in black, mirrors the camera layout and volume controls of the pink model but introduces a larger Action button and a capture button. Notably, these new buttons might adopt capacitive technology instead of mechanical, as per the report’s insights.

Recent reports suggest Apple’s plan to introduce the Action button across all iPhone 16 models next year.

In the current year, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max featured this programmable button, while last year’s iPhone 14 Pro series introduced the Dynamic Island across all four models.

There’s speculation about Apple potentially launching the iPhone 16 with capacitive buttons for both the Action and dedicated camera buttons.

Earlier expectations for the iPhone 15 series to adopt capacitive buttons were abandoned due to developmental hurdles, according to reports.
