Lady Drug Peddler arrested in Doda, J-K; Narcotics Recovered

Doda Police has achieved a major success by arrested one more drug peddler and recovered 06 grams Heroin (chitta) on the residential search of notorious drug peddler Doda.

While giving the details, Doda Police stated as below.
In its continued efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police after obtaining search warrants from the Hon’ble court conducted the search in the house of notorious drug paddler namely Shakeela Begum @ Taya R/o Sadiqabad Doda City and recovered Heroin like substance.

A case FIR No. 04/2025 was registered at PS Doda in which one peddler namely Baber Ahmed was arrested and 10 grams of heroin was recovered from him. After tracing the forward/backward links in the instant case, today after obtaining search warrants from Hon’ble court by SHO PS Doda, a Police team headed by DySP Hqrs Doda and Inspr Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, SHO PS Doda alongwith Executive magistrate Ist class conducted search in the house of most wanted notorious drug supplier namely Shakeela Begum @ Taya R/O Sadiqabad Doda.

During search 06 grams of Heroin (Chitta) like substance recovered from her house in presence of executive magistrate. The accused lady has been arrested in the instant case. Further investigation of the case is going on and more arrests/recoveries are expected .

Doda Police has continued its drive to tighten its noose on drug peddlers as an effort to eradicate the menace of drug. SSP Doda Sh. Sandeep Mehta-JKPS has appealed the general public to cooperate with Police and provide inputs if any drug peddling or any drug addiction is noticed in their neighborhood so that action could be taken against such offenders
