
Ladakh Internal_Complaints Committee reconstituted for UT Secretariat
Ladakh Administration orders the re-constitution of the internal complaints committee for the Union Territory secretariat, Ladakh.
The committee has been reconstituted under provisions of sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
The Ladakh administration via 593-LA (GAD) of 2024 Dated: 12.12.2024, accorded the sanction to the reconstitution of the internal complaints committee.

The internal complaints committee comprises of Presiding Officer and Members, to carry out the functions in accordance with the provisions contained in Chapter IV
& V of the said Act.
The respective members of the committee include: Shashanka Ala. IAS, Administrative Secretary, Administration of UT of Ladakh, Kaneez Fatima, Joint Director, Finance, UT Secretariat Presiding Officer, Nilza Angmo, JKAS, Under Secretary, Social & Tribal Welfare Department, Stanzin Ladol, Public Law Officer, Law & Justice Department.
Representative of an NGO or association, committed to the cause of women or a person familiar with the issues relating to sexual harassment; to be nominated by the Social & Tribal Welfare Department, and any other person co-opted by the Presiding Officer are also included as members.
