Khelo India Winter_Games 2025: UT Level Executive Committee in Ladakh constituted

Ladakh administration has accorded the sanction for the constitution of UT Level Executive Committee (EC) for the conduct of Khelo India Winter Games 2025 in UT of Ladakh.

Khelo India Winter Games 2025 is scheduled to be held from 23rd Jamuary to 27th January, 2025.

Composition of Committe

The composition of the Executive Committee (EC), is as under:

Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, UT of Ladakh, will act as chairperson of the committe, whereas Secretary (Sports), Department of Sports, Ministry Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, will act as co-chairperson.

Terms of the Refrence of the Committee

The terms of the reference of the committee are as follows:

1. The Executive Committee will be responsible for smooth conduct of the Games and will Supervise and monitor different activities of Khelo India Winter Games (KIWG), 2025.

2. The Executive Committee shall exist to bring about the overall coordination among various implementing agencies and discharge responsibilities under overall guidance of the OC (Organizing-cum-Coordination committee).

3. Supervise and provide oversight to the infrastructure development of the KIWG 2025 venues.
4. Monitor progress of projects related to Khelo India Winter Games (KIWG) 2025 in the field and review the work of the implementing agencies.
5. Executive Committee will apprise all decisions to the OC from time to time, all issues and concerns that may need attention of the OC.
6. Executive Committee will issue guidance, support to the games Secretariat for smooth management of the programme.
7. Meeting of the Executive Committee will be held at least once in every month.
