
Journalist Imran Riyaz Khan Safely Returns Home after Four-Month Disappearance
Islamabad: The missing Pakistani journalist and political commentator, Imran Riyaz Khan, has returned home, bringing relief to his family and colleagues. Imran Riyaz Khan had been missing for a harrowing four months, which had raised concerns about his safety and well-being.
Riyaz Khan’s disappearance came on the heels of the May 9 riots, leading to heightened anxieties about his whereabouts and the circumstances surrounding his absence.
Sialkot Police, in a recent development, officially confirmed the positive news of Imran Riyaz Khan’s safe return. In a statement, they conveyed, “Journalist and anchor, Mr. Imran Riyaz Khan, has been safely recovered. He is now reunited with his family, marking an end to the ordeal of his disappearance.”
The return of Imran Riyaz Khan is seen as a hopeful development in the ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of journalists and media professionals in Pakistan.
