    The Drugs and Vaccine Management System portal (DVDMS) up to the CHC level must be implemented and used smoothly. To that end, the JKMSL today introduced a mobile app and arranged a one-day capacity training event at Lecture Hall GMC Doda at Ghat.

    Under the direction of MD JKMSCL, MD NHM, and DHS Jammu, as well as worthy Health Secretary Health & Medical Education Deptt. J&K, the program was held.

    This time, Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr. Om Kumar presided over the program, which was also attended by the Nodal Officer JKMSCL Dr. Sudershan Katoch, the Medical Officer RDHW Doda Dr. Faheem Ahsan, the Supply Management Expert PATH Foundation Mr. Akbar Hussain, Mr. Nikhil Goswami, and Mr. Ankush from the JKMSCL IT Unit. Additionally, medical officers, paramedical staff, and dealing incharges DVDMS from the Assar, Bhaderwah, Gandoh, Ghat, and Thathri blocks, as well as medical officers, medical officers, and medical officers from these blocks also attended the program.

    The program included hands-on training and orientation, where participants were briefed on the features and functionalities of the recently launched Mobile Application on DVDMS.

    The training covered in-depth topics such as the Mobile App user interface and the various modules/features that make the app function. The importance of handling the Mobile App promptly and efficiently was emphasized, as it can enhance transparency, guarantee the timely and seamless supplies of healthcare facilities, and fortify the supply chain management.

    CMO Doda Dr Om Kumar while interacting with the participants also laid stress to implement the newly launched Mobile App at gross root level and directed the staff to learn each and every aspect of the features of this Mobile App, which shall not only streamline the distribution network for machinery and equipments, drugs and disposables but shall also ensure timeliness and transparency. .
