SRINAGAR, Apr 16: Hailing from district Kulgam of South Kashmir, pace sensation of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Mariya Noorain, has been selected by the National Women Selection Committee to attend the U-23 Women High Performance Camp, being organised by the National Cricket Academy (NCA), under the auspices of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The Camp will be held at Bengaluru from April 26 to May 16, 2024.

The Camp is being conducted under the supervision of quality coaches to train the players.

Mariya has represented JKCA in U-19, U-23 and Senior Women’s National Tournaments and has done fairly well, especially, in the U-23 National T20 Tournament in the league phase, wherein she took 11 wickets in seven matches with an economy rate of 5.06.
