
JKAACL and Education department Organise Captivating Cultural Program at GHSS Trown

In an enchanting spectacle of culture and talent, the Academy of Art, Culture, and Language (JKAACL) Sub Office Doda in collaboration with Education Department, organized a mesmerizing cultural program at Government Higher Secondary School Trown.
This remarkable event, impeccably coordinated by Cultural Officer Salla-Ud-Din and Assistant Cultural Officer Rashid Jahangir, showcased the vibrant tapestry of cultures and traditions from across the district, as performed by the talented students of Trown Higher Secondary School.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of the district’s Deputy Commissioner, Shri Vishesh Mahajan, and SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom, Bharat Singh, Secretary JKAACL, who actively participated in the cultural festivities. Among the other dignitaries in attendance were, Pankaj Katoch, Additional Commissioner in the Office of Div Com, Parshuram Dass Goria, Chief Education Officer Doda, and Tanveer Ahmed Wani, Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Trown Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, took the opportunity to applaud the students for their outstanding performances in cultural activities and urged them to strive for their goals.
He also emphasized the importance of staying away from drug abuse and encouraged students to contribute to a clean and green environment. During the program, the dignitaries paid the tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the motherland, highlighting that their sacrifices have paved the way for a peaceful environment today. .
He thanked SSP Doda for using this opportunity for paying tributes to the martyrs thus making the real heroes being recognised by all especially the school students. Additionally, DC Doda inaugurated the school library, and called upon to initiate the process of donating books for all such libraries by the officers and people living in the District and outside and also announced infrastructural improvements of the school grounds and road connectivity in the near future.
