In the region of Jammu & Kashmir, we have achieved the successful completion of a 224-meter viaduct (2-lane) at Sherebibi, accompanied by a associated cost of 12 Crores. This infrastructure project stands as a testament to the Government’s commitment to bolster NH-44.

The 224-meter segment, serving as part of the broader project, doesn’t only reduce the travel distance by 125 meters, thus mitigating steep gradients, but also avoids the need for a steep cutting with an 80-degree descent.
Moreover, it significantly eases the flow of traffic, circumventing the challenging terrain of Sherebibi Area gradients. This project not only contributes to the region’s economic growth and enhances its overall connectivity but also strengthens its environmental sustainability.
Under the visionary leadership of the esteemed Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Ji, our dedication to delivering top-tier highway infrastructure to Jammu & Kashmir remains unwavering. – Union Minister Nitin Gadkari tweeted.
