JK LG-Sinha Honors India’s Heroes at Vajr War Memorial

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, paid his respects to the fallen heroes of the Indian Army at the Vajr War Memorial in Kupwara district on Tuesday. The memorial, situated at the headquarters of the 28 Infantry Division, is a tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in various operations along the Line of Control.

Sinha, who was accompanied by senior army officers, laid a floral wreath at the memorial and observed a two-minute silence in honour of the martyrs. He also saluted the gallantry and sacrifice of the troops who fought against the enemy forces with utmost courage and dedication.

The Lt Guv also interacted with the army personnel and lauded their professionalism and commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
