
Jammu Police arrested notorious, hardcore criminal from Arnia area, pistol recovered
Jammu Police arrested a notorious criminal namely Raman Kumar S/O Bodh Raj R/O Kathar ,Arnia Jammu, against whom multiple FIR’s are already registered for various crimal acts.
The accused is also a history-sheeter of Police Station Arnia & had recently came out after completing his detention under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
Today on 29.03.2025 during patrolling at Karyal village PSI Harjinder Pal Singh along with police party apprehended one person namely Raman Kumar S/O Bodh Raj R/O Kathar ,Arnia & on his search recovered one country made pistol from his procession.

The entire operation was carried out by police team led by SHO Arnia inspector Sh. Sunil Dutt under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sh. Gurmeet Singh – JKPS and SP Headquarters Jammu Sh.Irshad Rather-JKPS, reinforcing the Jammu Police’s strong commitment in curbing crimes and drug-related activities in the region.
A case FIR No. 16/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Arnia and further investigation is underway to trace the network behind the recovered illegal weapon.
