James Solomon Passes Landmark Legislation To Fight Price Rent Gouging – Jim McGreevey Still Has Not Returned Corrupt Lefrak Donation

JERSEY CITY, NJ – Mayoral candidate James Solomon just passed a groundbreaking law to address Jersey City’s affordability crisis by banning the use of rent-setting algorithms. James saw a problem that was hurting tenants and he’s fixing it.

Jim McGreevey? He’s on the other side.

Jim Mcgreevey has STILL has not returned the $62,600 from the LeFrak developers who were recently sued by the Attorney General of New Jersey for “allegedly colluding in a rent-raising scheme that violated state and federal antitrust and consumer protection laws and forced tens of thousands of New Jerseyans to overpay for rent month after month.”

In reaction, James Solomon released the following statement: “Tenants get screwed by

rent-setting algorithms – which is why we took steps to fix it and protect renters. That’s the side I am on. Jim McGreevey, by continuing to hold onto over $60,000 in donations from the LeFrak developers, show’s he’s on the side of the people who want to make Jersey City less affordable. I am fighting to change Jersey City; Jim probably won’t return the money because he’s running to deliver more of the same old Jersey City corruption – where developers get rich and Jersey City residents get screwed.”
