The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) released a video purportedly showing a tunnel entrance in an outdoor area of Gaza’s largest hospital, though the video’s authenticity remains unverified.

Al-Shifa Hospital Struggles Amidst Ongoing Israel-Hamas Conflict

As the Israel-Hamas conflict enters its seventh week, Al-Shifa hospital finds itself at the forefront of the battle. Plagued by power cuts due to fuel shortages, the hospital has become a symbol of the humanitarian crisis. The Hamas health ministry reports numerous casualties at the hospital, attributing them to power outages. Despite previous evacuation calls by Israel, medical professionals argue that the movement of patients is impractical.

Amidst the turmoil, the United Nations discloses that around 2,300 patients, staff, and displaced individuals sought refuge in the hospital before the Israeli incursion on Wednesday.
