Israeli Attacks Kill Three Palestinians Across Gaza Amid Continuing Ceasefire Violations; Stormed Birzeit University
October 5, 2026 [GAZA CITY, VoM News]: Israeli attacks across the GAZA Strip have killed at least three Palestinians and wounded nine others, according to reports, as violence continues despite the US-brokered ceasefire.
As per information available with VoM News, attacks have been reported from Deir El Balah and Khan Younis; there was also a report of gunfire, drones flying over it as well as shells fired by artillery at Gaza City and north of Gaza. A six year old girl and an aid worker who was responsible for distributing supplies died among them according to reports.
Latest casualties are occurring due to ongoing Israeli attacks after a ceasefire was put into place. More than 1,300 Palestinian deaths are reported by Israeli health officials after this agreement; however, Israel claims that certain operations were due to security concerns or breaches of a ceasefire.
On Monday, Israelis raided areas of the occupied West Bank separately. The Palestinian news outlet Wafa said two kids are being held by soldiers who came to Deir Sharaf, located on the side of Nablus where they found houses and arrested them as minors. There is a third child held at Qusin.
The Israeli army is present at Birzeit University close to Ramallah; according to Palestinians it destroyed an monument honoring those who died as students or graduates of that institution during past years.
There are several reports of Israeli military incursions by universities in 2026.
At that time, Israel has been bombing some parts of Southern Lebanese cities like Haddatha, Baraachit, al-Mansouri and Majdal Zoun by its own government-owned news agency.
