Israeli Army Continues Attacks in Gaza and Southern Lebanon as Displacement Crisis Deepens

BEIRUT, November 1, 2026 (VoM News): The Southern Lebanon, and the occupied West Bank and Gaza areas are under the brutal attacks of Israeli forces, as they carried out artillery and air attacks in southern Lebanon while military operations continued across the occupied West Bank and Gaza, sources have told VoM News.

As per VoM’s reliable sources, Israeli artillery targeted the town of al-Mansouri and the outskirts of Hadatha in the Nabatieh district at dawn. The air strikes also struck the town of Aynatha, near Bint Jbeil.

As there is everywhere widespread destruction in southern Lebanon, and amid that, the attacks continued by israeli forces.

According to figures cited in an Al Jazeera infographic based on data from the UN Development Programme and the International Organization for Migration, 31,259 buildings had been damaged or destroyed by June 2026, while 333,144 people remained displaced across the country as of September.

Whereas, in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that Israeli forces entered Nablus’s Old City and deployed troops around neighbourhoods and commercial areas.

Tear gas was also fired near the village of Al-Nabi Saleh, while four people were reportedly arrested during raids in Burin.

In central Gaza, Wafa agency reported that Ibrahim Adel Saeed died from injuries sustained in Israeli tank fire east of Deir el-Balah.

The reported attacks add to the toll of a conflict that has caused extensive destruction and displacement. Lebanese Health Ministry figures cited in the report said Israeli attacks between October 2023 and September 2026 killed 8,920 people and injured 30,595 others.
