Iran Warns of Wider War, Says Military Ready for US or Israeli Strikes
TEHRAN, November 1, 2026 (VoM News): Iranian military and political officials have issued fresh warnings to the United States and Israel, saying the country’s armed forces are prepared for possible attacks and that any renewed conflict could extend beyond West Asia.
Brigadier-General Yadollah Javani, deputy for political affairs at Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), told the semi-official Fars news agency that Iranian forces were prepared for any scenario and would respond if attacked.
Javani said Iran’s military capabilities now extend beyond defensive operations, warning that US warships and forces entering Iranian territory or airspace could face devastating strikes.
Brigadier-General Mohammad Akraminia, spokesperson for Iran’s army, said any new US attack would trigger an immediate and more extensive response than previous confrontations. He warned that a future war could last longer and spread beyond the region.
Ebrahim Azizi, head of parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, described Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s order to military commanders to remain combat-ready as “final and binding.” He said Iran would respond to threats without geographical or target limitations.
Meanwhile, Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad said Tehran had no intention of negotiating its nuclear programme under pressure from Washington. He accused the United States of breaking commitments and attacking Iranian nuclear facilities.
The statements come as Iran maintains military readiness while diplomatic efforts continue in Doha to explore a possible end to the conflict.
Tehran’s warnings suggest that any renewed military confrontation could carry wider regional consequences.
