Iran-US Talks Heading Positively, Both Countries Ahead for Ending Middle East Conflict
WASHINGTON, MAY 23, 2026 [VoM News]: A major development has emerged in the US-Iran talks as senior officials from Iran and the United States signalled significant progress in negotiations.
This development could lead to an end to the Middle East conflict, as both sides indicated that a draft framework agreement could emerge soon despite concerns over key issues.
United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the ongoing talks are moving in a positive direction. He added that an announcement could come within days.
On the other hand, positive developments are also expected from the Iranian side.
Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir headed to Iran for talks and has emerged as an important intermediary between Washington and Tehran.
Meanwhile, the global economy has faced immense pressure as a key route of global oil trade remains shut due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
