    Iran Claims Ballistic Missile Attack on US Base in Jordan

    AMMAN, JORDAN, SEPTEMBER 2 [VoM News]: Amid the renewed heightened tensions in the region, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a ballistic missile attack on a US Marine Corps base in Jordan early Wednesday, Iranian news outlet Tasnim reported.

    The Iranian forces in its statement said that they had carried out an “intense ballistic missile attack” on Camp Titin, a US base located near the Gulf of Aqaba and close to the borders with Israel and Saudi Arabia, the news agency reported.

    Whereas, the Jordan’s army has claimed that it’s air defences intercepted 10 ballistic missiles launched from Iranian territory, while, three other missiles landed in remote areas, the army said. No injuries were reported.

    In Kuwait, the military said it was responding to what it described as “hostile missile and drone attacks” early Wednesday. Authorities did not immediately provide further details about the reported attacks.

    Washington said Tuesday that it had launched a series of attacks in response to attempted Iranian attacks on ships in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
