Instagram and Facebook Down, Users Unable to Access the Services

New Delhi, June 24, 2026 [VoM News]: Several users have faced the widespread disruptions on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger overnight raising the serious concerns for the users.

Outage-tracking website Downdetector has reported more than 21,000 reports linked to Instagram and about 20,000 involving Facebook so far, in a ‘X’ post.

Users rushed towards the ‘X’ and complained of feeds failing to update, posts not loading and difficulties opening the apps. Thousands of users were unable to refresh feeds, load content or access key features on the platforms.

This is the second major disruption that social media platforms faced after the recent major outage that hit the platform in less then two weeks.

So far, Meta has not responded to the requests at the time of filing of the report.
