
Infinix Note Edge 5G Launched in India with 1.5K Curved AMOLED, Dimensity 7100 and 6,500mAh Battery
New Delhi: The Infinix Note Edge 5G was launched in India on Wednesday, nearly a month after its global debut, expanding the mid-range portfolio of Infinix, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings. The smartphone also marks the debut of XOS 16, the company’s new Android 16-based operating system.
Price, Availability and Launch Offers
The Infinix Note Edge 5G price in India starts at Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 23,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs. 25,999.
The handset will be available in Lunar Titanium, Stellar Blue, and Silk Green colour options via Flipkart and the official Infinix India online store starting February 25.
As part of launch offers, SBI and ICICI Bank cardholders can avail instant discounts of up to Rs. 2,000. Buyers will also get a one-time screen replacement within six months and a one-year extended warranty from the date of purchase.
Features and Specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) smartphone runs Android 16-based XOS 16 and is promised to receive three years of OS upgrades along with five years of security updates. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,208×2,644 pixels) LTPS 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset paired with a Mali-G610 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
For optics, the Infinix Note Edge 5G sports a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and dual flash. On the front, it houses a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options include 5G and 5.5G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, OTG support, and FM radio. The handset comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
Measuring 163.1 × 77.4 × 7.2mm and weighing around 190 grams, the smartphone packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging.
