Elevating Nuclear Power Cooperation
Notable agreements were sealed between India and Russia concerning the future construction of power-generating units at the Kudankulam nuclear power plant.

Following discussions with Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Denis Manturov, Jaishankar disclosed these agreements. The Kudankulam nuclear power plant, India’s largest, is being developed in Tamil Nadu with technical expertise from Russia and is anticipated to reach its full operational capacity by 2027.
