Inclusive Cricket: Four Kashmiri Boys Join Indian Physically Disabled Men’s Team
Four talented Kashmiri boys, Wasim Iqbal (batsman), Jaffer Amin Bhat (batsman), Majid Ahmad Magray (off-spinner), and Aamir Hasan (fast bowler), have earned a spot in the Indian Physically Disabled Men’s Team for the upcoming five-match T20 series against England.
Organized by the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) and supported by BCCI, the series will take place in Ahmedabad from January 28 to February 06.
The selected squad, captained by Vikrant Keni, includes players from various regions, showcasing the diversity and inclusion in Indian cricket.
The matches will be held at different venues, including the Narendra Modi Stadium Complex, Gujarat College, and Railway Ground, offering a platform for differently-abled cricketers to showcase their skills.
The series aims to promote inclusivity and provide opportunities for players with disabilities to excel in the sport.
