IIT Jammu Organizes Entrance Exam for AVSAR Scheme in Doda
The Institute of Science and Technology, IIT, conducted an entrance examination for candidates aspiring to join the government-sponsored AVSAR scheme in Doda.
The exam, held at Government Higher Secondary School Boys, had Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh overseeing the process.
The event received guidance from Employment Officer Imtiyaz Ali and District Panchayat Officer Suraj Singh.
A total of 111 candidates, including 92 males and 19 females, actively participated in the examination.
The AVSAR scheme, operating under the mission youth, aims to uplift and enhance the skills of the youth.
The entrance exam, organized by IIT Jammu, serves as a crucial selection step for students aspiring to be part of the AVSAR scheme.
This initiative reflects a commitment to fostering skill development and providing opportunities for individuals in the region to showcase their talents.
