“I Stopped Iran From Obtaining a Nuclear Weapon, Stopped Eight Wars; Still No Nobel Peace Prize,” Says President Donald Trump

“I Stopped Iran From Obtaining a Nuclear Weapon, Stopped Eight Wars; Still No Nobel Peace Prize,” Says President Donald Trump

WASHINGTON, October 11, 2026 [VoM News]: Once again, United States President Donald Trump has claimed that his administration stopped Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and ended eight wars, citing his foreign-policy achievements.

Despite these claimed achievements, Trump expressed disappointment over not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize and questioned the decision.

He made these remarks in a post on the Truth Social platform on Saturday.

He described Iran as the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism and asserted that he had stopped Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

His post reads, “I … stopped the number one state sponsor of terror, the Islamic Republic of Iran, from obtaining a Nuclear Weapon.”

Trump did not limit his post to this claim. He further added that he had settled eight wars and was close to ending or resolving two additional conflicts.

Referring to these claimed achievements, Trump questioned why his efforts had not been recognised with the Nobel Peace Prize.

“Yet, with all of that I, or the United States of America, did not get the Noble Peace Prize. WOW!” he wrote.

Trump’s remarks come amid continuing international attention surrounding Iran’s nuclear programme and the broader security situation in the Middle East, while critics have also lashed out at the Trump administration, calling its approach a “complete failure.”

However, his assertions about preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and resolving multiple wars were not accompanied by supporting evidence in the quoted post.
