Jammu: In a tragic incident, one person lost his life and three others were injured when a Kucha house suddenly collapsed in Reasi District on Monday. The incident took place at around 5:30 PM in Sujandhar Bhomag. The newly constructed house belonged to Kewal Krishan, son of Shankar Dass.
The collapse resulted in the death of Narinder Singh, son of Hans Raj, a local resident. Additionally, three more locals sustained injuries. The injured have been identified as Kuldeep Singh, son of Hans Raj, Mohd Akram, son of Mohd Yousaf, and Purab Singh, son of Shambu Nath.
Following the collapse, the injured were quickly transported to District Hospital Reasi, where they are receiving medical treatment. The condition of the injured individuals is currently being monitored.
A senior police officer informed GNS that an official case has been registered regarding the incident. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the sudden collapse of the Kucha house.
The local authorities are expected to carry out a detailed inspection of the site to ensure no further risks are present.
