Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sanctions Rs 100 Crore for Shimla Infrastructure Development
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has approved a fund of Rs 100 crore for enhancing infrastructure in Shimla, aiming to boost tourist footfall and improve facilities for local residents.
The allocation includes Rs 55 crore for underground power cables, ensuring uninterrupted power supply during adverse weather conditions.
An additional Rs 45 crore will be utilized for the improvement and widening of Circular Road in Shimla, contributing to decongestion and facilitating smoother vehicular movement.
Chief Minister Sukhu emphasized the government’s commitment to attracting more tourists to the state and enhancing overall infrastructure for their convenience.
