Healthcare Empowerment: Free Medical Camp in Kishtwar
Kishtwar, May 9, 2024 : Under the dynamic leadership of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav IAS, and the supervision of Chief Medical Officer Kishtwar Dr. Rajinder Kumar, a free medical camp was organized by Block Medical Officer Paddar at NTPHC Sohal Paddar.
Diverse Medical Expertise
The medical camp featured senior consultants from District Hospital Kishtwar, covering specialties including pediatrics, gynecology, surgery, medicine, dentistry, and ophthalmology, ensuring comprehensive healthcare services.Throughout the day, 150 patients were examined and screened for various ailments, with a focus on timely interventions and care for optimal health outcomes.
Preventive Healthcare Focus
A dedicated counter for screening non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like diabetes and hypertension highlighted the camp’s proactive approach towards preventive healthcare, benefitting the community at large.In addition to consultations, onsite laboratory tests facilitated prompt diagnosis and treatment, while tuberculosis screening emphasized the camp’s holistic commitment to public health.
The successful execution of this free medical camp underscores the dedication of the district administration and healthcare professionals towards delivering accessible and quality healthcare services to the residents of Paddar and its surrounding areas.
