Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG) is expanding its presence in Bengaluru by launching two state-of-the-art cancer care centres in Whitefield and North Bengaluru. Scheduled to commence operations in early 2025, these new facilities will bring specialized and advanced cancer treatments to these highly populated areas. These centres will be the third and fourth in HCG’s hospital network in Bengaluru.
The new centres will offer a full spectrum of cancer care services, from precise diagnostics to personalized treatment plans, under one roof. The Whitefield and North Bengaluru facilities will collectively accommodate 125 beds, complementing HCG’s existing flagship centres at KR Road and Double Road, which together have 300 beds. Additionally, HCG operates three daycare centers in Kalyan Nagar, Malleshwaram, and Banashankari, with plans to open two more to facilitate easier access to treatments like chemotherapy.
A significant feature of the North Bengaluru facility is the introduction of the MR LINAC radiation system, which integrates MRI with a linear accelerator. This technology aims to improve clinical outcomes, reduce side effects, and shorten treatment durations, revolutionizing radiation therapy in the region.
Dr. B S Ajaikumar, Executive Chairman of HCG, stated, “Our new advanced centres at Whitefield and North Bengaluru are pivotal to our aim of extending our network to the local community sustainably, ensuring high-quality cancer care is accessible to all.”
Raj Gore, CEO of HCG, added, “We are focused on expanding our reach and taking HCG’s comprehensive and quality cancer care services closer to patients in and around Bengaluru. We remain firm in our commitment to investing in new infrastructure, advanced treatments, and cutting-edge technology.”
HCG currently operates 21 comprehensive cancer centres with 24 hospitals across India and Africa, along with seven daycare centres. The expansion in Bengaluru underscores HCG’s dedication to enhancing cancer care accessibility and quality.
