Gymnast Aaryan Davande Secures Gold for Maharashtra at Khelo India Youth Games

Defending champions Maharashtra claimed their first gold medal at the Khelo India Youth Games 2023 as gymnast Aaryan Davande clinched the artistic all-round crown.

Davande secured the top spot with a total of 73.200 points, surpassing Uttar Pradesh’s Pranav Mishra (72.470 pts) and UP’s Harshit, who won the bronze with 71.700 points.

Maharashtra now holds the third position in the overall standings with a total of 10 medals, including four silver and six bronze. The victory helped them leapfrog in the medal tally at the multi-sport event.
