Gujjar Community Huts Destroyed in Arnia Electrical Blaze
Two huts of the Gujjar community were completely gutted in the fire that broke out due to a short circuit of electricity in Kol Kalan village of Arnia area on Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Fire Control Department The fire fighting team brought the fire under control, however, by then all the belongings inside the house were reduced to ashes.
According to sources, around 1 pm on Wednesday in the huts of Farooq Hussain and Rasheed Hussain, son of Jor Hussain. A fire broke out. Despite the immediate efforts of the local people to control the fire, the intense heat and strong winds made the situation worse. The family members trapped inside the houses escaped with great difficulty.
The local people immediately informed the fire department, which immediately intervened and brought the fire under control. Farooq Hussain said that all his belongings were completely burnt in the fire.
Gurdeep Singh Saini, former sarpanch. Appealed to the government and local administration to provide adequate support to the affected families. He emphasized that the families affected by the fire should receive timely assistance from the government, as many of them do not have shelter and adequate food supply.
He called for an immediate assessment of the damages and urged the authorities to provide adequate compensation.
