Gujarat’s Vidya Samiksha Kendra Showcased to Global Education Delegation
A delegation of education ministers and dignitaries from various countries, including Mali, Guinea, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Togo, Central African Republic, Benin, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, visited Vidya Samiksha Kendra in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar.
Led by Luis Benveniste, Global Director of Education, the delegation learned about the activities of the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, which is the country’s first center for real-time, online comprehensive monitoring of school education.
The World Bank has adopted the center as a global best practice, and it plays a crucial role in data-based decision-making for education policy in Gujarat.
The center collects over 500 crore data sets annually to enhance learning outcomes and improve education policy. The visit aimed to share Gujarat’s success in education with other nations.
