
Govt Urges CJP Protesters to End Sit-in After JP Nadda Meeting, Denies Forcible Removal of Protestors From Jantar Mantar
New Delhi, July 20, 2026 [VoM News]: As the two representatives of Cockroach Janta Party met with Union Minister J.P. Nadda, the govt called on the protestors to end their sit-in at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
The maind demand which is being reported is the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak.

CJP spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka met Nadda at his residence and submitted a memorandum outlining the group’s demands.
According to Spokesperson Das, the Union minister assured them that the matter would be discussed at the appropriate level but did not make any specific commitments.
As per reports gathered, the the CJP has accused the Education Minister Dharminder Pradhan of failing to address repeated examination irregularities.
The momendrum has blamed and labelled it a lack of systemic reforms, including the alleged NEET-2026 paper leak, CBSE Class 12 portal issues and delays in the CUET examination, alleging a lack of systemic reforms.
Hundreds of protestors gathered in central Delhi and attempted to march towards Parliament, which, however, was intervened by police by implementing the prohibitory orders.
Meanwhile, the officials have dismissed the reports of forcible removal of protestors from Jantar Mantar, but the videos on social media have turned the govt’s version as false.
