
Govt PG College Bhaderwah observed National Science Day 2025

Internal quality assurance cell( IQAC) in collaboration with dept. of Zoology and Physics Govt. PG College Bhaderwah organized National Science Day 2025 with the theme “Empowering Indian Youth for Global leadership in science and innovation for Viksit Bharat” under the presidentship of Principal GDC Bhaderwah.
Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal. Programme began with the introductory speech cum welcome adress by Dr. Ajaz A.Wani Head Dept.of Zoology and IQAC coordinator.He welcome one and all in this scientific gathering . He introduced the importance of science day in cultivating the scientific temperament in younger generations and sensitizing them for innovations in Scientific Research and Development.
He stressed the students to be innovative and develop the scientific temperament in this era of science and technology. He also enlightened the students with history, relevance and significance of science day. He delivered in detail on the concerns of this day in the light of present theme.
Development of scientific approach towards understanding common man problems around and solving them is the actual need of the hour. Symposium competition was also held on the present theme in which many students participated.Himani,Vanshika and Saleem were adjudicated as 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The appreciation certificates were presented to the winners and participants. The symposium was adjuged by Prof. Bashir Ahmad,Sr.Asst.prof.Physics ,Prof Mohd Yaseen Sirwal HOD chemistry and prof.Younis Rashid Dept. of Botany GDC Bhaderwah. Whole programme was coordinated by Dr.Kulbushan Kumar dept.of Zoology. Programme culminates with Vote of thanks By Prof. Younis Rashid Dept.of Botany.
