Google Launches the Pixel 11 Series: AI Focus, Powerful Chip, and Upgraded Cameras for the Indian Market
NEW DELHI, August 13: Google made its mark on Wednesday by unveiling its latest suite of devices under the Pixel 11 banner. The lineup includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL, as well as the innovative foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold. These new smartphones boast the Google-developed Tensor G6 chipset, alongside a camera system packed with upgrades, a suite of advanced AI features, and increased robustness.
At the core of the Pixel 11 series is Google’s new Tensor G6 chipset, specifically crafted to power the latest iteration of the Gemini Nano AI model and unlock unprecedented on-device artificial intelligence performance. Every model in the lineup carries an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, enhanced telephoto capabilities with up to 5x zoom, and new AI-driven tools for photography and enhanced productivity.
The standard Pixel 11 is set to impress with a revamped camera design, featuring a module that is a staggering 40% slimmer than its predecessor, the Pixel 10. This year’s model is equipped with a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom on the back, complemented by a 10.5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Among the software innovations announced are Magic Capture, a groundbreaking feature that spontaneously snaps photos and short videos with a single shutter press, and Instant Night Sight, a new system designed for faster low-light photography, minimizing movement blur from lengthy exposure times.
The Pixel 11 will be available in compelling colorways: Pistachio, Hibiscus, Frost, and Obsidian. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL will come in choice of Canyon, Fog, Olive, and a full-matte Obsidian finish.
Pricing for the Indian Market:
* Pixel 11: Kicks off at ₹89,999 for the entry-level model, with the top-tier 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration priced at ₹1,04,999.
* Pixel 11 Pro: Starting at ₹1,19,999, escalating to ₹1,34,999 for the highest storage option.
* Pixel 11 Pro XL: Begins at ₹1,34,999, reaching ₹1,49,999 for its most capacious variant.
The Pixel 11 series clearly represents Google’s steadfast commitment to embedding artificial intelligence at the heart of its smartphones, furthering the capabilities built into prior Pixel generations while delivering potent hardware advancements, superior camera performance, and an enhanced user experience powered by the Tensor G6.
