Meanwhile, BJP candidate Pallavi Dempo, contesting from the South Goa Lok Sabha seat, urged citizens to exercise their democratic rights, underscoring the significance of voting. The election process in Goa is witnessing active participation, with a notable voter turnout of 30.94%. As the state engages in the electoral process, Maharashtra lags behind with an 18.18% turnout. The South Goa Lok Sabha constituency, along with North Goa, is actively voting during the third phase of the 2024 elections, with results expected on June 4.
