Five Dead, Dozens Missing in South African Building Collapse
Five people were killed, and 49 remained missing after a multi-storey building collapsed in George, South Africa, according to CNN. The incident occurred on Monday, prompting ongoing rescue missions in the Western Cape province.
Rescue efforts have resulted in the retrieval of 26 individuals since the collapse, with three rescue teams operating in different areas of the site, as reported by George Municipality.
