    Five-Day Training on New Criminal Laws Concludes at DPL Samba

    Samba, February 15: Samba Police has today concluded five days training programme on new criminal laws at District Police Lines Samba for the officers/officials of Samba Police/Traffic Police which was commenced w.e.f. 10-02-2025.

    The objective of the training programme is to acquaint the police officers & officials with the three new criminal laws. Three master trainers of the rank of Inspectors have imparted training to 102 Police officers/officials from Samba Police/Traffic Police. Special lectures have also been delivered by the Gazetted Police Officers and Sr. Prosecuting Officer during the course of training programme.

    During the training period, lectures were delivered on new criminal laws namely “Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita” (BNS), “Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita” (BNSS), and “Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam” (BSA) which have replaced the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and the Indian Evidence Act.

    The training programme was coordinated & supervised by DySP DAR Samba who is also the nodal officer for the said programme. The training programme will continue on weekly basis till all Police personnel of Samba Police are familiarized with new criminal laws.
