On the Sunday morning of the day, in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, a report of an exchange of fire emerged.

According to reports received by VoM, a brief gunfight has started between terrorists and security forces near the Paddar Batam area of the Kishtwar police station. Reports says, fire took place nearly at 11:30 pm ni night.

The Kishtwar police, on Sunday morning, confirmed the brief gunfight in a Twitter thread, which reads as follows:

The Kishtwar police further stated that the search operation is going on to nab the terrorists.
