Establish a Practical Examination Centre at GHSS Gundna, Doda: Activist Riaz Shamsi

As the exam session is going on, the students in GHSS Gundna area have demanded the establishment of a practical examination centre at Gundana.

Riaz Ahmed Shamsi, who is a well known, educational, health and human rights activist has called on the authorities to establish a practical examination centre at Gundana so that the students from remote areas not face immense difficulties.

In a heartfelt appeal to worthy Deputy Commissioner Doda, he stated that GHSS Gundana, though upgraded to a higher secondary level school, is still not designated as a practical examination centre, forcing the students to travel long distances to reach the other centres in Thathri, Ghat and Doda.

The students belonging from poor background faces a lot of financial difficulties also. He further pointed the practical examination centres established in other areas including Goha Marmat, Chiralla and Dessa where only few number of students are as compared to graph at GHSS Gundana, which shows the unfair distribution of educational resources.

Shamsi further appealed to Deputy Commissioner Doda to take the notice of the matter as soon as possible so that students observing the ongoing the examination not faces long distance travelling to the centres and be made accessible to the students.
