The flight, which took off from Heathrow, turned back over the Strait of Dover and landed at Heathrow at 8.41 am. Emergency services were on standby as the plane touched down.

A British Airways spokesperson attributed the return to Heathrow to a ‘technical issue.’ The airline expressed regret for the delay, assuring passengers that a replacement aircraft was arranged for their continued journey. The incident occurred amid flight cancellations due to Storm Isha, affecting several flights from Heathrow.
