Embraer Q2 Net Profit Climbs 25%, Sets New Quarterly Revenue Record

SAO PAULO, Aug 10 (Reuters) – Brazilian ​planemaker Embraer ‌on Monday reported a ​second-quarter net ​profit of 1.11 ⁠billion ​reais ($218.3 million), up ​25% from a year earlier.

Revenue ​at ​the world’s third-largest aircraft ‌manufacturer ⁠rose 10% year-on-year to 11.34 ​billion ​reais, ⁠a record for ​the April-June ​period, ⁠while EBITDA increased ⁠30% ​to ​1.81 billion reais.
