An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 struck Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, early on October 13, 2024, at 6:14 AM IST. The epicenter was located at 32.95° North latitude and 75.83° East longitude, with a recorded depth of 15 kilometers. This seismic event has been reviewed and confirmed.

The epicenter was approximately:

158 kilometers southeast of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, 163 kilometers northwest of Kullu, Himachal Prades, 171 kilometers north-northeast of Amritsar, Punjab, 180 kilometers south of Kargil, Laddakh, and 181 kilometers southeast of Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir
