Drug peddler arrested with heroin by Police in Udhampur
Police team from Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while performing routine vehicle/Patrolling duty apprehended one suspicious person who was trying to hide himself from police team.
Upon conducting a thorough frisking, the police team recovered 2.64 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance from the possesion of above apprehended person namely Mohit Sharma S/O Subash Chander R/O Tikri, Udhampur who has been arrested on the spot.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 94/2025 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe. Jkp MediacentrePhq Zonal Police Media Centre Jammu Udhampur Reasi Range Police Media Centre, PHQ, J&K Police.
