DPAP Denies Rumors of Azad Rejoining Congress
The Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) on Sunday dismissed rumors suggesting that its chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad, is planning to rejoin the Congress party.
DPAP Spokesperson Salman Nizami addressed these speculations, which have been circulating over the past two weeks. According to Nizami, there were claims that Congress leadership had reached out to Azad, encouraging him to return to the party.
Nizami firmly rejected these rumors, stating that they are completely baseless. He emphasized that since Azad’s departure from the Congress, he has not approached any Congress leaders, nor have they contacted him, whether directly or indirectly.
Nizami further pointed out that these false reports seem to be an attempt to create confusion and undermine the strength of DPAP. He urged party members to remain united and vigilant, advising them not to be swayed by such misleading information.
He concluded by affirming that Ghulam Nabi Azad remains fully committed to DPAP, with no intentions of returning to the Congress party.
