
Doda Police Trace Missing Person, Reunite Him with Family in Goha Marmat
Doda, October 02, 2025: Doda Police have successfully traced a missing person and reunited him with his family, whose missing report had been lodged at Police Post Goha Marmat under the jurisdiction of Police Station Doda.
On 14.08.2025, a missing report regarding Santosh Kumar S/o Jameet Ram R/o Muthi, Tehsil Marmat was entered at Police Post Goha Marmat of PS Doda.
Soon after registration of the missing report, search of the said missing person was started, on the directions of SSP Doda, a special team was constituted from PS Doda led by IC PP Goha Marmat, under the supervision of SHO PS Doda and DySP Headquarters Doda. The team utilized all possible means, including technical assistance, and after developing certain leads, successfully traced the missing person on 02.10.2025 from Bhargran.
After completion of all necessary legal formalities, the missing person was handed over to his family. Accordingly, the missing report has been closed at PP Goha Marmat of PS Doda.
Doda Police reiterates its commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens and will continue earnest efforts to trace and reunite missing persons with their families.
